Mount Orofure, which sits at 1226m high, is a climb that is a must if visiting the Noboribetsu area. Situated on top of Orofure pass, it gives you breathtaking views in all directions. The terrain of this hike changes from woodland walking to climbing up rocky outcrops. This is the perfect hike for someone wanting a challenging but rewarding hike.

Itinerary
Meet at adex base 15 minutes beforehand to check gear and to complete formalities.
Orofureyama Trailhead
Drive to Orofureyama trailhead. (approx. 30 minutes)
Mountain summit
Climb up to Orofureyama summit admiring the views along the way. (approx. 90 minutes)
Break
Have a break on top of Orofureyama with breathtaking views!
(approx. 30 minutes).
Car park
Hike down the mountain back to the start point.
(approx. 60 minutes)
adex base
Take free shuttle bus back to adex base and finish.

What do I need to bring?
Please wear suitable shoes like hiking boots or shoes. Wear layers that can easily be added or removed in accordance with the weather. Jeans and cotton clothes are not suitable.
A windproof and waterproof jacket are also required. A hat, sunglasses are needed for sunny days.
Participants are also advised to bring some snacks and plenty of water.

This hike and will require a medium level of fitness.
Dress & Clothing
Please wear proper hiking shoes and bring warm clothing. Depending on the season and weather conditions, it can be cool or wet during the hike. We recommend being well-prepared with appropriate layers and waterproof clothing.
Food & Snacks
We recommend bringing sufficient water and snacks, as there will be no meals provided during the tour. However, we will provide a 500ml bottle of water per person.

Cancellation Policy
If the tour is canceled due to bad weather on the day (heavy rain, strong winds, typhoons, heavy snow, etc.), we will refund 50% of the published price of the activity tour.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event. 70% if booking is cancelled 2 days, 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days and10% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event.
