Meet at adex base 15 minutes beforehand to check gear and to complete formalities. If you find that you are missing any gear, you can purchase it at our shop (Adex Base) before the tour begins.
Trailhead
Drive to the trailhead. (approx. 45 minutes)
Date Monbetsu Peak summit
Up to the summit. (120 minutes)
Break
Have a break at the summit or in a suitable spot. (approx. 30 minutes)
Carpark
Down to the start point (approx. 120 minutes)

What do I need to bring?
Small Backpack:
We recommend bringing a small backpack to carry your own water, snacks, and other essentials.
Camera:
There are many scenic spots along the way, so a camera is a great idea to capture the views. (A smartphone is also fine.)
Water & Snacks:
Please bring enough water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized during the tour.
Hat & Sunglasses:
We recommend bringing a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.
Sunscreen:

Fitness Level:
This tour is suitable for beginner to intermediate hikers. A moderate level of fitness is required to ascend Date Monbetsu Peak, which has an elevation of 714 meters.
Distance & Route:
The hike follows a ridge trail, with some steep and narrow sections. The total round-trip distance is approximately 7.6 km.
Gear & Clothing:
Please wear proper hiking shoes and bring warm clothing. Depending on the season and weather conditions on the day, it can be windy and cold, so we recommend being well-prepared with appropriate gear.
Water & Snacks:
We recommend bringing sufficient water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized throughout the tour.
Other Considerations:
Weather conditions may affect the route and the views, but you will still be able to enjoy the beautiful nature of Hokkaido regardless of the conditions.

Cancellation Policy
If the tour is canceled due to bad weather on the day (heavy rain, strong winds, typhoons, heavy snow, etc.), we will refund 50% of the published price of the activity tour.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event. 70% if booking is cancelled 2 days, 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days and10% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event.
