Itinerary

Meet at adex base 15 minutes beforehand to check gear and to complete formalities. If you find that you are missing any gear, you can purchase it at our shop (adex base) before the tour begins.

What do I need to bring?

Required Items

  • Hiking boots or trekking shoes (required) – slip-resistant footwear with ankle support

  • Backpack (20L or more recommended) – should be able to hold water, food, and extra layers

  • Warm layers (required) – temperatures drop significantly at the summit

  • Rain gear (highly recommended) – to prepare for sudden weather changes
     

Recommended Items

  • Hat & sunglasses – for sun protection (especially in summer)

  • Gloves – to protect hands when using ropes or on rocky sections

  • Additional water & snacks – for those who may need more than the provided 500ml bottle

  • Camera & extra battery – to capture the panoramic summit views

Fitness Level

This tour is challenging and requires a high level of physical endurance. Participants should be comfortable hiking for approximately 10 hours.

Distance & Route

Total Distance: Approx. 16 km (round trip).

The trail passes through mossy forests, volcanic terrain, and reaches the summit.

Challenging rocky paths – Careful footing is required.

Dress & Clothing

Hiking boots (required) – Secure and stable footwear is necessary.

Rain gear (highly recommended) – Sudden weather changes are common.

Food & Drink

Light meal (sandwich & warm drink) included.

Extra water and food are necessary for this long-duration trek.

Other Considerations

Hiking in rocky volcanic terrain requires careful footing.

Weather effects – The summit is often windy, and visibility may change suddenly.

Cancellation Policy

If the tour is canceled due to bad weather on the day (heavy rain, strong winds, typhoons, heavy snow, etc.), we will refund 50% of the published price of the activity tour.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event. 70% if booking is cancelled 2 days, 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days and10% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event.
