Lake Tachibana is a peaceful lake near the sleepy onsen village of Karurusu. From here we will snowshoe for an hour through the forest until we reach the lake. We will take a break by the lakeside to enjoy the serenity of this quaint lake and admire the surrounding beauty of the forests.

Meet at adex base 15 minutes before departure to check gear and clothes, and complete formalities.
Karurusu car park
Drive to Karurusu car park. (15 mins. approx
Lake Tachibana
Snowshoe along forest path until reaching Lake Tachibana. (60 mins. approx))
Break
Have a break whilst enjoying the peaceful nature. (30 mins approx)
Karurusu car park
Snowshoe back along forest path back to start point. (60 mins approx)

What do I need to bring?
Appropriate footwear is needed such as walking boots, and breathable clothes that are suitable for exercise. A windproof jacket and gloves and hats are needed. Snacks and drinks are advised and sunglasses and suncream for sunny days.

To do this activity, participants need to be able to snowshoe up and downhill over rough terrain for approximately 3.5 km for a duration of 3 hours. There are no toilets at the lake, so participants need to go to the toilet before stating the activity.

Cancellation Policy
If the tour is canceled due to bad weather on the day (heavy rain, strong winds, typhoons, heavy snow, etc.), we will refund 50% of the published price of the activity tour.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event. 70% if booking is cancelled 2 days, 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days and10% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event.
